Possible GTA 6 leaked map shows slightly smaller Vice City in comparison to Los Santos

Rockstar Games is yet to announce a sequel to the now-inseparable GTA 5 but there’re discussions going on about what GTA 6 could bring to the table. Rumors have been long afloat of Grand Theft Auto 6 going back to Vice City after almost two decades, although in a modern and up-to-date version of the same. A recent tip now hints at the size and enormity of the game’s map.

A new map has emerged on the Internet that claims to represent GTA 6’s Vice City. An earlier version of the map has been circulated with minimum details but the new one comes with scale and more details. When compared to Los Santos, the map is only slightly smaller but has almost similar features including two islands.

GTA 6 VICE CITY MAP LEAKS

The map showcases large areas of green patches with a river that divides the map into two landmasses. There seems to be a large delta-like feature in the center that could give rise to several boat chases and interesting missions. There also appears to be an island district with its own beach ahead of a posh urban setup.

The map also has certain features such as airports, and military bases, thereby hinting at the presence of aircraft within the game. Of course, it remains to be seen as to whether GTA 6 brings back jet aircraft and fighter planes from GTA 5. The original GTA Vice City had no aircraft that players can interact with.

In a direct comparison with GTA 5’s Los Santos, the map appears slightly smaller. However, Rockstar Games has been known to work its wonders with maps and we expect the new Vice City to have opportunities to let players enjoy in the same fashion as GTA 5’s Los Santos.

A previous GTA 6 leak also hinted at the story’s protagonist bring a female character. GTA 5 offered a choice of three characters from the go, allowing players to choose between them randomly. The arrival of a female protagonist could shape up an exciting new era for the GTA franchise.

At the moment, Rockstar Games is minting profits from 2013’s GTA 5 and GTA Online. The game will be given a makeover for the current generation Xbox Series X and Sony PlayStation 5 consoles soon.

GTA 6 Might Get Announced at E3 2021

You read it right, we have a possibility that GTA 6 Might get announced at E3 2021 and Grand Theft Auto community is going crazy over this!

Some Grand Theft Auto fans think Rockstar Games is going to announce and reveal GTA 6 at E3 2021 based on a new tweet from the official E3 Twitter account. According to a plethora of rumors, reports, and leaks from both credible and non-credible sources, GTA 6 is currently in development at Rockstar, because of course, it is. Rockstar Games can and will continue to milk GTA 5, but naturally, the second best-selling game of all time will get a follow-up. The pertinent question has always been not if, but when GTA 6 will release.

According to the most credible sources to speak about the unannounced game, GTA 6 is still years away, which means a reveal is not imminent. However, despite the evidence suggesting a GTA 6 reveal is still a ways off, some Grand Theft Auto fans currently think a reveal/announcement is imminent due to the aforementioned tweet.

Over on Twitter, "GTA 6 News & Leaks" asked the official E3 Twitter account if fans can expect a GTA 6 announcement at E3 this June. Replying to this, the show's Twitter account replied with a GIF of Sitch from Lilo & Stitch getting his head patted. That's it.

For some, this is evidence that GTA 6 is going to be revealed at E3 2021, but obviously, this is a huge stretch. Not only does the reply not indicate this, but all of the aforementioned rumors and reports indicate the game is still -- at least -- a couple of years away from being revealed. That said, here are some more wrenches for the theory.

For one, Rockstar Games hasn't had a presence at E3 in years. Further, while GTA 5 did rear its head at E3 back in 2013, it was already announced.

Two, Rockstar Games is not going to reveal or talk about GTA 6 before it releases the "expanded and enhanced" version of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X. If you want people to buy a "next-gen" version of GTA 5, you don't announce and reveal GTA 6 beforehand.

It's reasonable to expect the game to be revealed this year given that three years separated the release and reveal of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. This October, it will be three years since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. So, could GTA 6 be revealed this year? Sure, if history is any indication, it can be. However, don't expect it to be an indication this time, and especially don't expect the game to be revealed at E3 2021. There's as good of a chance that GTA 7 will be revealed at E3 as there is GTA 6 being revealed at the summer show.

GTA 6 Might Cost Upto 70 USD as Per Rumors in 2021

Although speculations, GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto 6) might cost up to 70$ or higher when it launches in the next coming time. Price tags of games have been increasing with time and gamers are ready to pay for it no matter what. Especially for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 as mentioned by Zelnick.

As mentioned by Video Game Chronicles, Zelnick Spoke about it during Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference, when asked about the 70$ price tag for NBA 2k21. His response suggests that we can expect an even higher cost for GTA 6, which already might be under development.

“We announced a $70 price point for NBA 2K21, our view was that we’re offering an array of extraordinary experiences, lots of replayability, and the last time there was a frontline price increase in the US was 2005, 2006, so we think consumers were ready for it,” Zelnick said.

Rockstar Games have not revealed their plans for GTA 6 regarding its development under process. Thanks to GTA geeks who have Rockstar Games under a microscope, it appears that Bibin Michael, Who was credited on Red Dead Redemption 2, worked on "Concept vehicles matching the real world for GTA 5 DLC and most probably for GTA 6". This revelation was made based on his online resume.

GTA 5 Being the highest-grossing media of all time which earned over a billion dollars in the first three days of launch, GTA 6 being the successor of GTA 5 is quite expected to be better and larger in terms of everything and hence expected to launch at the higher price tag.
